All programmes are processed to conform with the Digital Production Partnership's technical specifications. As well as providing original content this department also reversion repeated material to ensure they remain compliant to current broadcast codes. As a Post Production Assistant, I ingested material and transcoded to the correct formats either for an editing or transmission output working in a MCR environment. I have reversioned many internationally acquired series such as The Apprentice, Drag Race and Traitors in order to make them suitable for UK broadcast. I have attained multiple production credits as Editor, Assistant Editor, or Colourist (some examples given below). Editing was usually carried out on Adobe Premiere and supported with Adobe After Effects, ProTools, DaVinci Resolve, and ColourLab AI when required. SD and HD technical reviews were carried out using FCPX. As of 2021 I have specialised as the department's UHD Reversion Editor creating and delivering IMF packages for the BBC's UHD HLG specific output. I solely trained other staff and contractors in UHD-HLG QC consequently leading to help establish a team of fully competent QC operatives at another BBC site and also provided self authored workflow documents and videos.
