Experienced educator, outreach specialist and program manager passionate about fostering community engagement in education, most recently in scientific exploration, digital literacy, and STEM education. With a strong track record spanning over a decade, I've led and developed innovative STEM education initiatives for NCW Libraries, empowering staff and community members to embrace lifelong learning. From orchestrating transformative programming to coordinating logistics for outdoor education, my career has been dedicated to cultivating a love for learning and finding a sense of self and place in education. Skilled in curriculum design, program coordination, and outreach, I've also contributed to initiatives empowering queer youth through nature connection and facilitated various environmental education experiences. My journey has taken me from library settings to national parks, each step reinforcing my commitment to making education accessible and impactful for all. With a Master’s of Education in Environmental Education with a focus in Social Justice, and certificates in Non-Profit Administration, Leadership, and Natural History of the PNW from Western Washington University I have centered increasing access to programming for marginalized communities through DEIA work in education.
