Rumor has it that 222 people per day move to Maricopa County. Some have lived here in the past and others have been here multiple times but most haven't. For most people that are coming out here to the desert, this is a whole new experience. Where are the best schools? East Valley vs. West Valley. Where can I get a good cup of coffee? Where can I look to find reliable, trustworthy childcare? There are so many questions around moving to a new state and it can be super stressful when you don't know anyone and/or the lay of the land. While I was at Northcentral University, I was not only the team lead of a conventional team but I was also the lead on the military side. Working with the military population is my deepest passions as they have really, truly earned their right to an education. So many active duty and retired military let their educational benefits expire and I love the opportunity to show them how they can maximize their benefit while they have it. I consider working with this population an honor.

I left BEST when they had a merger with Chancellor and became an admissions manager for a bi-coastal team. Half my team was in Tempe, AZ and the other half was in Cleveland, OH. A number of changes took place and I was move to Business Development and worked exclusively with Suzy Welch promoting the Jack Welch Management Institute, which at one point, was part of Chancellor University. I traveled around the county to civilian and military events spreading the word about JWMI. What an awesome experience!!

BEST is where I really caught the bug for education. Helping people reach the next level personally and professionally through education has been a great career for me and very rewarding. Here, I learned the ropes of enrollment/admissions and the business side of online education.
