To develop, plan and execute a strategy to drive UKActive Kids and UKActive Kids members forward, resulting in more children, more active, more often and a more evidence based way of practice.Campaigning and championing the importance of giving young people the environments and platforms to flourish and thrive through physical activity, both in school and out, during term and during the holidays. Overseeing the delivery of world class services to UKActive Kids members from across the spectrum of UKActive to deliver outstanding opportunities to children and young people, either directly or through supporting academic teams.

As a freelance content creator I produced safe, fun, engaging and inclusive fitness content for the national platform 'Studio You', aimed to make sure that every girl, regardless of background or ability, can enjoy PE. Strategically leading the successful delivery of the 'Children and Young People', Sport England projects delivered by the Active Partnership for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The role acts as part of the newly invested Sport England 'Active Families' funding.As Active Families Programme Manager my role oversees the strategic delivery of the programme across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. As Programme Manager I monitor locality progress against targets set, and ensure that extensive data collection takes place to demonstrate programme impact. My role aims to continuously develop the programme seeking opportunities to work with new stakeholders, and gain additional funding.

Sport England’s Satellite Club programme acts as a platform to engage sedentary young people (14-19yrs) to engage in physical activity to improve their physical, social and mental wellbeing. The programme aims to create a habit for life, emphasising the health benefits to targeted young people whilst taking a customer focused approach. As Satellite Club Programme Manager I am responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of the project across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The priority areas for Satellite clubs in our local area include establishing clubs that cater for females, disabled young people, and those living in a deprived area/from a low socio-economic background.

Working as a freelance advisor I was seconded alongside my role as Head of CYP at Living Sport. I worked with the Public Health team to build robust, purposeful and impactful programmes supporting the activity levels of underserved children and young people across the County.

Ellesmere College

The role acts as a joint partnership between Leicestershire and Rutland Sport and Ellesmere College in the development of disability sport within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The primary focus is on inclusive club development and advocating inclusive sport for all across the County.

Lusaka, Zambia

The Team Leader role involved managing 30+ student coaches, and University staff members taking part in the UK Sport Zambia IDEALS project over a 5 month period. The role involved coordinating student work programmes, and ensuring that all volunteers were safe and supported whilst teaching in deprived communities in Lusaka. As Team Leader I provided CPD opportunities for volunteers such as the 'Tackle Africa' training which delivers HIV and AIDS education through sport.Another key part to the Team Leader role involved working with the Zambian Basketball Association (ZBA) to provide strategic support to aid their long term sustainability and structural development.
