While at Hynam Construction, I worked with a great team of civil engineers with the aim of providing high quality construction services to customers with consideration of the current economic climate. During my time there, I was able to further improve on my design program skills and my interpersonal communication skills from frequent interaction with clients. Other tasks I completed during the internship included:-Material Calculations and suitability-Building and On-Site Inspections-Tender Bill Calculations-Utilizing Auto-CAD for woodwork designs and material calculations

During my time at Stantec, I shadowed various engineers, ranging from civil to environmental engineers, on a daily basis and learned different design program skills from senior technicians within the company. Assigned tasks I completed while there included:-Compiled data, organized and created file logs-Conducted research and prepared reports for review-Prepared civil engineer's sketches in specified computer programs-Conducted field testing-Tender bill verification
