The last three years I have been part-time at Hefty Seed Company where I assisted in conducting inventory operations. In this position, I demonstrated a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic, to ensure accurate tracking and documentation for inventory purposes. In this position I also utilized my communication skills as I had to communicate with many different departments or customers to reconcile discrepancies and ensure inventory remained on track. In this role, I also had the opportunity to help with event planning for the Ag PhD Field Day that is put on every year. This event gains traction to over 12,000 attendees and several large agricultural vendors. Assisting in this event planning provided me with relationship building skills as well as the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.I am currently working as an Executive Assistant for Sanford Health Technology Solutions. This role has already increased my communication, organization and overall time management skills. I get an unique opportunity to learn closely from very established leaders. However, the main goal of my position is to ensure my executives day runs smoothly and efficiently. I do this by managing their calendars, anticipating needs, problem solving, and maintaining discretion while also juggling several other tasks.
