My name is Ashlee Rodecker and I currently work as a Nurse Practitioner with Texas Health Heart and Vascular Specialists. My nursing career was spent in the Intensive Care Unit where it can be a very fast-paced environment and critical thinking abilities are very important. My hands-on experience with various critically ill patients has taught me to be confident with patient care and I feel that has contributed to my smooth transition into the NP role. I pride myself on being a fast learner as well as very easily adaptable to change and new environments. My last four years of nursing were spent floating between various intensive care units in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. I am a motivated individual who is thoroughly enjoying my new role as a nurse practitioner in the cardiology environment.
