Ashlee Russell, M.Ed. Email and Phone Number
Hi there! My name is Ashlee and I am an AI enthusiast with a rich background in K12 education. I have served in elementary and secondary settings as a teacher (both regular ed and special ed), instructional coach, and district-wide professional development leader. My resources for teaching small-groups have been adopted district-wide in secondary ELA classrooms. I've also had the pleasure of starting my own learning and development company, putting the science of learning to use through providing courses, workshops, etc. to various companies and organizations. My love of AI started back in the summer of 2023, when my professional development company was contracted by Pearson VUE to design, and deliver the AI and Data Literacy curriculum to the very first AI-integrated unit in the US Army! I have had the honor of working with some of our country's best and brightest who are on the cutting edge of AI.As I continue on my journey with the US Army, I have begun to share my knowledge of AI with the Education sector, offering services including AI Literacy education, consulting, resources and support for schools to succeed with AI. Please reach out to see how my company, AI Learning Central, can support you or collaborate with you! I am incredibly thankful to have been recognized for several honors and awards, including the Fayetteville Observer’s 40 Under 40 in 2018, the 2015-2016 Cumberland County Schools’ Teacher of the Year, and candidate for the North Carolina Statewide Teacher of the Year, as well as the Jack Britt District Teacher of the Year, New Century International Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year, WRAL Channel 5’s Teacher of the Week, and the New Century International Elementary School’s PTA as the Parent’s Choice Teacher of the Year. I love my students and fellow educators and I know there are many others who deserve this same kind of recognition!
