Current freshman at Temple University. A former dancer and dance instructor looking to pursue a business degree in accounting. As a child, I had a passion for music and expressing myself through dance. Due to this, I attended an arts school (Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush) where I participated in multiple events and shows. During my time in high school, I was a part of the National Honor Society (NHS) and maintained a 4.0 GPA. Furthermore, I have been a dancer for 15 years and a dance instructor for a year. Advancing from a student to a teacher taught me many skills such as how to communicate in a way that is easily understandable to others, leadership, teamwork, as well as problem solving. Such skills inspired me to explore the business field and obtain a degree in business. Accounting appealed to me due to its need for critical thinking, collaboration, confidence, and its ability to be a vital part of a business.
