I was the first female Chief Meteorologist at WBNS-10TV (CBS), Central Ohio's News Leader, presenting the forecast weeknights at 5pm, 6pm and 11pm. I also did forecasts for Sunny 95, ONN Radio affiliates, 97.1 The Fan and Amazon Alexa. I previously was weekday Morning Meteorologist on “10 This Morning” and prior to that, Weekend Evening Meteorologist and General Assignment Reporter. Throughout my time at 10TV, I was honored with an Emmy for our Severe Weather Special, earned three AP awards for Best Weathercast by the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors, voted Best Weather Person in the Columbus Dispatch CBus Top Picks for four consecutive years and Best Weatherperson in the Columbus Monthly Readers’ Poll “Best of Columbus” in 2020. Early on, I helped the weather department successfully transition to WSI MAX software, and served as an ambassador on the station's Culture Committee to help improve the environment and morale of the workplace. Detroit, Michigan

I anchored traffic and entertainment news on Local 4 News Today (NBC) in Detroit from 5-7am. I was a general assignment reporter throughout the week with packages airing in the 4pm, 5pm and 6pm newscasts. I filled in as news anchor on the weekend morning show and as co-host of "Live in the D."​ In addition, I served as the face for the following station franchises: Vote 4 the Best, Friday Football Frenzy and Ashlee's Adventures. Also, as a meteorologist, I filled in for the Local4casters. I was voted Best Traffic Reporter in 2015 in Hour Detroit’s “Best of Detroit.”

Westland, Michigan

As Communications Coordinator, I hosted the weekly show, "This Week in Westland" on WLND. I also served as the on-air reporter for various other WLND shows, managed the City of Westland's social media and eNewsletter, wrote press releases, assisted in maintaining www.cityofwestland.com and acted as the liaison between the Mayor’s Office and the city's Community Relations Department. WLND can be viewed on W.O.W. Channel 10, Comcast Channel 12 or via livestream.com/cityofwestland. WLND/Community Media LLC was declared the nation's best government access facility by the Alliance for Community Media and was also the recent recipient of the Philo T. Farnsworth Award.

As a division of KCI’s Marketing and Communications Department, my role in Breast Cancer Special Programs was to coordinate the planning and implementation of KCI’s Heroes of Breast Cancer program. Additionally, I administered and marketed National Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities including arrangements for speaking engagements.

Assisted in the planning of Komen Detroit Race for the Cure. Managed online web content updates, including e-marketing blasts, social media, and Race webpage. Trained and managed Race volunteers working in-office, performed post-Race tasks including donation processing, vendor payments, sponsor invoicing and acknowledgements. Provided administrative support to the Race’s grant process.

As Miss Michigan, I served as the state represenative and spokesperson for the Miss America and Miss Michigan Scholarship Programs. Additionally, I traveled the state on behalf of the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Children's Miracle Network, and Right Decisions Right Now. I also worked closely with the American Cancer Society promoting my platform, Breast Cancer Awareness and Education, as an advocate and motivational speaker.
