Hi! I'm Ash. I'm a design director and digital strategist with 16 years experience in all things design and digital. I’m currently based in Melbourne where I love to solve problems and craft meaningful experiences for users. I currently lead the team as Strategic Design Director at Studio MASS, a design studio focused on brand, digital and strategy. I previously led the Melbourne design team as Design Director at Cognizant, a Fortune 200 global technology consultancy.I’ve lived across four continents, where I’ve worked with teams and brands both large and small. I have experience working through all aspects of a project lifecycle; new business, workshop facilitation, digital strategy, user experience, information architecture, branding, design and art direction. I have experience leading talented creatives and collaborating with development teams to bring projects to life.I previously spent my years at digital agency Reactive, starting out in the Melbourne studio before relocating to New York to help establish and grow our US operations. Before its acquisition by Accenture, Reactive was one of Australia’s largest digital agencies providing strategy, design, development and marketing for some of the world's best known brands. In my career I've worked across a wide range of industries including lifestyle, beauty, travel, arts, education, retail, sports, finance and technology. I’ve had the privilege of living in Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York, Melbourne and Malmö; and relish the challenge of adapting to new cultures and communities. I’m an avid traveller and also work as a commercial photographer, mostly on lifestyle and travel imagery. During my time in Japan, I also focused on communication from a different perspective as a language teacher.
