My love to help and make things appear better goes back to the age of 6 spending summers in Alabama with my Aunt. She had the biggest heart and loved to help people. We would watch the news all the time, while making pies and cakes to sell. I'd often explain to people when I'd return home about my her cakes and the next summer would have list from people that never met my Aunt, but wanted a cake. This kick started my love to help, inform, and market. Convincing someone to support, believe, or buy a product or into what you believe in can be challenging, but so rewarding. The thrill and adrenaline of not knowing what the day may brings excites me. The love for news, current events, and wanting to help people lead me to a career in communications. From being an on- air personality to a marketing assistant I loved everything about it. It didn't matter if it was preparing live shots for the 50th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March or checking influencers in to movie premiers while very different it was all very exciting. Switching from communications to case management was tough, however I am able to use the skills I obtained while working in communications. Much like my previous jobs you never know what you are going to walk into. Working and helping kids that have experienced trauma or have been court ordered to residential achieve their goals to exit the program.Passion and diligence are two traits that I believe most reflect me as an individual. It is my belief that this is the key to being successful in any endeavor that one set’s their mind to. I love to generate new ideas and devise feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems. I enjoy embracing the lessons learned from failure, stand up and continue to grow. When I’m not on the job, I love watching and attending sport events, making memories with my kids, and seeing new places.Think we should work together?
