I am currently serving as the K-8 Staff Developer at Utah Virtual Academy. Prior to becoming Lead Teacher, I taught for four years at a brick and mortar high school and then taught as a 9th grade English Language Arts teacher at UTVA’s High School for two years. I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in English Education and a minor in Speech Communication with an endorsement in Leadership. Since accepting the Staff Developer position at Utah Virtual Academy in 2019, I have participated in the K12 GROW Leadership Program, redesigned my school’s Professional Learning Community, developed a teacher leadership program, and helped streamline communication to both teachers and students.
