About Ashleigh Bone
A dedicated, highly motivated, hardworking CALD community worker, whom has experience in the Human Resources, Disability , retail and construction. I have excellent customer relationship skills and have the proven ability to relate to individuals across all hierarchical levels and diverse cultural backgrounds. I have been working in the community services sector since 2017,Areas include the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Gladstone and Hervey Bay. Working across these areas has allowed me to create relationships within the community services sector. From 2017-2019 I worked as a Better Start Advisor at Carers Queensland. I was fortunate enough to work for such a valuable organisation that commits itself to providing specialised carer and disability support services to Carers and individuals with a disability. I maintained my role for 2.5 years, where I provided optimal customer service with my dealings with carers and individuals with a disability. This was done through providing information, family carer support, education around advocacy and support as well as the referral to required services. I am passionate about the community services sector and come equipped with motivation, drive and energy to provide innovative and new ideas to enhance the potential of PWD and their Carers. 2019-2022 I worked for CPL in Hervey Bay as an NDIS facilitator.2022-2023 I worked with Tedoo Behaviour support as a behaviour support practitioner Current Fraser Coast Support Coordination I support participants to navigate the NDIS, conduct pre planning and reviews for NDIS meetings. Community engagement is a large part of my role. It is crucial to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders in the Hervey Bay community to ensure that we work together as a community to provide optimal supports to people with a disability and their Carers. As an NDIS CO-ordintor I consult support coordinators and plan managers to assist participants to utilise their plan to best live the life that they choose. My role consists of creating schedule of supports for families , service agreements and exploring the supports that the individual requires to allow the individual to increase their independence and reach their goals. I am also called upon to provide Education and information around NDIS access, plan implementation, carer support services and access to supports in the Maryborough and Hervey Bay region.
