Environment & Sustainability Manager working within Australian construction industry since 2007. Key Outcomes / Achievements• Achieving 100% compliance during internal and external ISO audits including recertification audits,• Creating the projects final environmental Offset strategy for implementation on Federal land.• Successful remediation of multiple contaminated land sites of varying risk levels including asbestos, heavy metals, hydrocarbons and UXO’s.• Improved environmental training to subcontractors including creation of a bespoke practical sediment and erosion control demonstration with over 150 people attending the course over 12 months.• finding significant cost saving possibilities for the project through landscaping improvements, appropriate contractor and consultant selection and negotiations with client to allow significant material re-use on site.• Project was a finalist for the QLD 2014 Premiers Sustainability awards – the first time John Holland had submitted for this award. I was also the lead author for this submission.• Nominated in NAWICs Young Achiever category for my work on the project including strengthening community and client relationships and my mentoring and support of younger women and graduates within the company. -
