Basketball has taught me discipline in every aspect, team work, hard work, acclimating to a new environment, leadership, communication, and many others. My professional basketball career took me to Sweden where I played for 8 years, coached professionally for 3 and was also the Sports Director for the professional team as well. Working every aspect of the game allowed me to be a role model, create teams and unity, and hire people that fit the vision of the club. Graduating from Miami University, then playing semi professional for some months led to my professional career starting. Furthered my studies with taking language courses for Swedish and entrepreneur courses at the university level as well. Finishing a Mini MBA in Business from Miami University and currently studying for my Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration. Working with students from all types of backgrounds the last 6 years has been so rewarding and educational for my development. Being the activities coordinator, behavior specialist, and teachers assistant, I have been able to find different roles that expand my competencies.
