Hi, my name is Ashleigh, and using creative concepts to communicate with an audience is what I do best. Back in my days as a student leader I was exposed to the exhilarating life of graphic design. Although at a very basic level, I found myself using Canva to design event posters, flyers, and merchandise. As I continued on my journey through the extra curricular space in university, I found my graphic design skills became more and more useful. I was now creating social media content. I loved the thrill of working out what type of content people wanted to see, what type of content people connected with the most, and what type of content gave our audience the truest reflection of our identity. This started me on my content strategy journey. A year later I found myself working as a full blown social media manager, putting together posting schedules, creating calls to action, and using data to formulate strategies to improve following and engagement. I took my skills across the seas with me and started woking as a social media manager and content creator for a small boutique hotel in Ireland. It was shortly after where I was presented with the opportunity to strengthen my content skills, and started working for a world renown software company. A place where i have grown into a strong writer and video editor. A place where i have learned to put the audience at the heart of your content. A place where I have learned that your audience is the key to your strategy’s success. And it is these lessons that I am hoping to bring with me back into the social media and content creation space, so I can help your company achieve their marketing and content goals.
