In my role as financial accountant at CEG I was responsible for the oversight and reporting of CEG's management company as well as the consolidated group of entities holding CEG's latest investment property portfolio. This encompassed quarterly investor reporting of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow, financial covenant reporting to financial institutions, and coordination of the statutory accounts and audit process. Analysis of financial information including detailed property letting data and CAPEX spend to project accounting and cash based performance was also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, I was responsible for the coordination of the financial statement preparation and audit process across all of CEG's entities which involved numerous IFRS consolidations and covered a number of jurisdictions across Europe. This also involved a number of ad-hoc projects such as IFRS compliance reviews.

As a senior in the audit service line at EY I led a variety of small, and medium sized audit engagements across a range of industries including technology, power and utilities, manufacturing, FMCG, and insurance. In this role I was the key contact for audit partners, audit teams, and clients and was responsible for overseeing the audit process and applying IFRS in the audit of financial statements.

Zürich Area, Switzerland

At the beginning of 2016 I was placed on an overseas secondment to Switzerland. This involved the same responsibilities as for an audit senior, but performed in a different environment with teams of diverse backgrounds and languages. A portion of this work was undertaken in The Netherlands.
