Continuing to carry out my duties as the Australian/New Zealand International Candidate Manager, alongside managing the International Team.

Continuing on at Prospero Teaching but with a focus on Australian and New Zealand candidates. • Responsible for the management of Australian and New Zealand candidates pre- and post- arrival• Sourcing CVs and qualifying candidates on their suitability for teaching in the UK• Liaising with UK consultants with the aim of candidates being placed into positions ideally pre-arrival• Keeping detailed records of all contacted teachers, including spreadsheets and profiles, and their stage in the process of moving to the UK• Assessing and monitoring the candidate registration process including reference requests, overseas police checks and QTS applications• Running induction sessions to train overseas teachers on the UK school system- this also often involves induction for teachers from Canada,Ireland and the Netherlands• Advising candidates on issues such as accommodation, tax and finances, healthcare and other common relocation queries• Managing any queries or problems the candidates have once employment has commenced• Developing Prospero Teaching brand awareness and contributing to candidate referrals as well as targeted attraction of overseas candidates via the website and Australasian advertising platforms

My role at Prospero is to recruit teachers and support staff for various roles across London and the surrounding counties. As Candidate Manager my role incorporates using my teaching knowledge and experience to research, source and speak to candidates, and put them in touch with the correct consultant. It also involves pre-screening and registering candidates, creating and posting advertisements and attending university fairs in order to find the best teachers that we can.Our REC Gold Standard is testament to our commitment to high levels of service and best practice.
