I like to solve problems by drawing on my diverse interests and learning. Currently I am studying Arts (Philosophy and Linguistics) and Electrical Engineering. I pride myself on my ability to approach a problem by the 'road less travelled', combining subjective and objective thinking to find a new perspective and solutions. Outside of university, I am a night stocker at Woolworths, academic tutor and member of the University of Queensland Emmanuel College Highlanders Pipe band. Learning first-hand the importance of strong teamwork and communication skills.In 2019 I launched my own business, running regular Zumba classes and tutoring students at local high schools. I loved initiating the business and using my knowledge base in dance, mathematics, English and science together to deliver a needed service. This experience furthered my excitement to become an engineer and work with people to solve real world problems.
