My name is Ashleigh Ellen Tanner and I am 23 years old. I am currently studying a Masters course 'Developmental and Therapeutic Play' in Swansea University. I will complete this course in September and I am currently working on completing my dissertation, which is about "How do preschool children engage in digital technology". When I graduate from Swansea university I hope to start a PGCE course in Aberystwyth, which I have already applied for. I absolutely love the idea of having my own little foundation class full of children ready to learn and have fun whilst doing so. My previous places of work have been waitressing in a local cafe, cleaning and a variety of other jobs in a health centre during covid-19 and being a relief nursery assistant. I have gained a lot of experience working with both adults and most importantly children. Some of my skills include; effective listening, excellent communication, able to use my initiative, able to work as a team, able to stay calm under pressure and am kind and friendly. My hobbies include; cooking/baking for friends and family, walking/discovering new places with friends, family and my dogs, gardening, reading and travelling.
