I am an innovative and creative secondary Mathematics and Science (Physics) teacher working in a regional public school with a relatively socio-educationally diverse cohort. I have a passion for cultivating diverse learning experiences, developing curriculum resources and using evidence based research to support my teaching practices. I came to teaching after a career in Physiotherapy and bring experience and expertise working with a range of physical and cognitive disabilities. I now use this experience – and my pedagogical skills – to enrich the quality of education I provide to my students, aiming to build a better future for them and for us all. In particular, I have a passion for Indigenous education reform and am actively taking a leadership role within this space.
