After spending my first 5 years in the professional world as a Management Accountant I soon learnt there was a lot more to accounting than just 'crunching the numbers'. Over the past 5 years I have been on a journey discovering new ways to use technology and unleash the value hidden in a company's finances.Working as a part of the Chief Data Office at Suncorp I am passionate about helping the Finance Community evolve their current culture from a backward looking and manual reporting process to an automated and predictive state which can provide deeper analysis into the vast amount of financial data available.I have a love for technology and always looking to grow my knowledge about the new Business Intelligence tools on the market. I have a deep understanding of the IBM Cognos Suite including TM1, Cognos Disclosure Management and Cognos BI as well as Tableau.
