Everything from bathroom remodels, new furniture, minor decorative updates, or new paint; no job is too large or too small. Working with my clients to update their spaces, while still keeping the integrity of who they are is so important, and I personally find that it makes the home so much more inviting. I greatly enjoy working with my clients to find the look that is right for them, and helping them to create a space that they enjoy walking into every day.When I'm not working on designs, I make home made, hand painted signs. I'm always eager to try out a new design, and test my limits. I feel truly blessed, and excited to share a talent that God has granted me with others.

My role has expanded and changed greatly over the years. When I first began, I had the opportunity to work closely with Modern Builders doing drafting work on many different types of projects that included Industrial, Commercial Spaces, Schools/Gymnasiums and more. Every job had its own specific needs which allowed me to widen my drafting abilities doing everything from foundation plans, metal wall and roof jobs, and really digging into the details that go along with those types of materials and projects. Eventually I moved my way over to the Modern Design Architects side of the business where I have had the opportunity to put together complete construction documents for many different types of projects including Optometric offices, a bowling alley, office spaces, schools and more. While working for Modern Design, I really focused in on finishes, lighting, casework designs, etc. allowing me to build our Interior Design department from scratch and watch our interiors grow and evolve into something really fun and exciting. What started out with just me, is now a team of 3 in our department. Every day brings on a new opportunity, and a new challenge; I greatly enjoy taking things down to the fine details, and problem solving to find the best solution.

For years, I have built my clientele through superior customer service and my extensive product knowledge. I enjoy bringing my interior design knowledge into my showroom daily, and sharing it with my customers to produce a design that they can fall in love with every day. In addition to partnering with customers on designs, I carefully maintain our showroom displays, since we are constantly changing our fixtures and designs to keep things up-to-date and fresh for our returning customers. This includes controlling and maintaining our showroom inventory through orders and careful auditing of on-hand product in order to provide our customers with an exciting and readily available selection.I also conducted training programs with new and existing employees, through direct collaboration with vendors as well as cross-training on product knowledge in other departments in our company. . I strongly believe that continuous product knowledge is key in being successful.Lastly, I implemented all McDonald Supply advertising in print, as well as maintaining our social media presence, since any chance to grow and put ourselves in front of our customers is key. We are always finding new ways to bring technology into our showroom to better ourselves, and to set us apart from the competition.
