Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a world class theme park and renowned zoo in Tampa, FL. As the associate manager I am primarily responsible for in-park media relations including press trip development, ticket request facilitation, and event promotions (which includes in-studio and on-location press). This freelance position was tasked with helping with internal communications and internal marketing efforts, mainly to assist with communications within the nursing, HR, and other internal care departments. In addition, the hospital system merged external physician offices (primary care mainly) and this position was tasked with physician marketing of those offices.

This position was responsible for brand management, media relations, social media, event promotions, social media, recruitment, internal and external communications, crisis communications, and to a lesser degree alumni communications. This included: project management and creative direction of promotional materials, event promotions and campaigns for over 350 events (School of Music listed), social media campaigns, website content, photography, videography, newsletters, mailing lists, design, press release content and distribution, media management, facility tours, archivist, and point of contact for many projects across campus and in the community.
