With over a decade of experience in Community Development, Project Management, and Event Planning, I'm dedicated to making a lasting impact in the communities where I live, work, and play.Currently, I serve as the Executive Director and Co-Founder of BLK OWNED, a local non-profit non-profit organization with a mission is to celebrate, showcase, explore, and support Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in the Greater Hamilton Area. Our goal through this support is to empower and create a sustainable and thriving economy for Black-owned businesses.I've played a pivotal role in planning fundraisers that support local women and youth organizations, channeling vital resources and opportunities to the heart of our communities.Additionally, I'm proud to be one of the founding mothers of the second Black-focused sorority in Canada, where I've been a driving force for unity, empowerment, and positive change.🎙️ Passion for professional speaking runs deep in my veins.
