As I am finalising my study career at the University of Adelaide in 2019, I am gaining field experience in various sectors, from interning in media marketing and content agencies to writing for horticulture organisations. From driving to interviews in regional South Australia to working in the bustling Melbourne Street of Adelaide, I love new experiences to enhance my skill-set and learn more within the industry. This year I was lucky enough to be chosen for the Australian Middle East Journalism Exchange. This not-for-profit organisation works to enhance cultural understanding between the Middle East and up-and-coming journalism students from Canberra and Adelaide, a new expansion. This experience allowed me to find an interest in writing and producing content on topics that I feel passionate about such as women's rights and social justice. Currently, I am interning and freelancing and about to open my portfolio website to showcase my work. I can't wait for what the future will hold and the new people I will meet in my media career, whether in South Australia, Australia or overseas!
