My experience began in public accounting where I was quickly exposed to the intricacies of a wide-range of for-profit businesses, non-profit organizations, and governmental entities. My innate ability to identify areas of improvement led to increasing firm profits by successfully converting audit clients to consulting clients with value added services. This experience and my drive to lead positioned me to seize a growth opportunity as the CFO of a private school. My position began with a more traditional role overseeing the financial aspects of the school then grew to also oversee the operations, information technology, and computer systems aspects as well. After moving to Houston, TX from Baton Rouge, LA, I was afforded a great opportunity to re-enter the world of public accounting where I am currently working for Calvetti Ferguson as an Assurance Manager. My focus is primarily on PE backed companies from a range of industries which include energy, real estate & property management, oilfield services, manufacturing & distribution, and technology.
