In my role as a Field Engineer within the Transportation Division, I am actively engaged in overseeing civil engineering projects focusing on roads, bike paths, washes, and sidewalks. As executive director, I oversaw the entire TEDxUSC event and team to ensure the conference was up to TED standards and that all of our speakers were able to confidently communicate their messages.

As the speakers director of TEDxUSC, I worked to organize the TEDxUSC event by choosing TEDx speakers, overseeing speakers and speech coaches, and organizing the technicalities and licensing for the conference.

As a part of the selective team that organizes TEDxUSC, I maintained an integral role of choosing and working with speakers for the conference. Along with this, technical skills of developing a website, and social skills of professionalism are seen in my work with the organization. Leading up to the conference, I served as a speech coach for the speakers to help speakers develop effective communication and presentation skills.

Project: Inclusion, Dispersion and Constraint: Powersharing in the World's States As a lead author on this social science publication, I facilitated communication and work with a PhD candidate and professor in overseeing the piloting and refinement of 38 variables to collect comprehensive information about the governments of 165 countries. I led a team of six undergraduate research assistants to work collaboratively on data, analysis and visualization, data cleaning and to implement intercoder reliability checks.

In the Security and Political Economy (SPEC) lab at USC, I worked as a research assistant for the Powersharing Team under Professor Ben Graham and Ph.D Student Alix Ziff. My team provided data as to how powersharing institutions impact rule of law, balance of power, and human rights for every country coded. Tasks in the lab require precision, close attention to detail, and a serious commitment to the work.

Director Global Policy Institute (a student run think tank) responsible for spearheading programming and development for the institute and USC's School of International Relations. Sought to diversify studies and analysis within the field of International Relations. I served as fellow director of the organization since Fall 2020.

While interning for the mayor as a part of the Riverside Youth Council, I was an integral member of organizing youth leadership conferences as well as advocating for the city to pass more environmentally conscious legislation. During my time there, I helped organize a youth leadership conference for the city, the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Walk, and worked on the team of environmental concerns in the city.

While interning for California Assemblymember Jose Medina, I facilitated conversation between my state's government and the youth of my city. My role was to support the inclusion of the concerns of the youth in the dialogue regarding state policies. My work done with Assemblymember Medina for the social and environmental betterment of my community was recognized and applauded on the CA Assembly floor in July 2017 and 2018.
