- Prepare testing method related work instructions in the counterfeit detection lab.- Perform visual inspection on electronic components.- Using various microscopic equipment and the naked eye, to ensure the components matches manufacturer’s specifications and have no damage. - Using Alcohol/Mineral spirits test, Acetone test and Scrape test to verify that components have not been black topped.- Determine if there are any abnormalities with the components that might indicate it is a possible counterfeit.- Operate and maintain analytical instruments, perform tests in a laboratory such as, but not limited to, XRF, X-Ray, Microscopy, Decapsulation, Solderability, Curve Tracing, and C-Sam.- Communicate/coordinate with 3rd party calibration/test houses to address equipment calibration/maintenance/additional customer testing requirements. - Support laboratory on tasks/processes related to ISO 17025 lab system/customer audits. Utilize the proprietary system to complete, in detail, the component inspection process and upload any documentation, including but not limited to test results. - Prepare test reports in a timely manner and ensure tests are performed in accordance with industrial standards/ customer specified testing plans. - Communicate with appropriate individuals local and overseas when discrepancies arise. - Monitor laboratory operation and test turnaround time.- Report any abnormal incidents to management team.- Ensure cleanliness of counterfeit detection lab and supply of consumables.
