The JDCRP is a very young foundation and, as such, various positions are still flexible and encompass many tasks. My position within the JDCRP brought out the flexibility acquired in various other experiences. While optimizing communications within our staff as well as with our partners was an important part of my tasks, my main focus was developing our digital communications. Creating and enhancing the foundation's presence on social media, streamlining our visual identity, and creating content were some of my main tasks. There are many challenges that come from building something new, which is what made this position so exciting and enriching!

As a publishing editor, I am mostly in charge of layout. With my language skill set, being fluent in 5 languages and being an English native speaker, I worked almost exclusively for Larousse in their Languages and Dictionaries department. As a freelancer, my position is so much more enriching as I get "hands-on" experience proofreading, streamlining the layout, writing and rewriting the content. I also rendered content from one language to another.

After an internship in one of Saint-Germain-des-Près' most prestigious small-scale publishing companies, I was invited on board as Assistant Editor. In this capacity I was part of the reading committee, where manuscripts would be chosen for publication. I would then work closely with the author, the layout artist, and the proofreader in order to follow a project through.
