Project Name: Gore Street DevelopmentLocation: Salford, ManchesterValue and duration: £80 Million, 24 Months (Total)My Responsibilty: Facade Package Manager. Package lead for SFS, Windows, Cladding, Mast Climbers and Curtain Walling.Project outcome: Project has been ongoing since April 2018. All facade packages now procured. SFS, Mast Climber and Window installation is ongoing across all three blocks. As a Facade Package Manager on this project my initial role was to support the commercial team with the procurement of subcontractors for my facade packages. I was responsible for reviewing the proposed scope of works and activity schedules, ensuring that any construction/logistical constraints were captured and addressed prior to subcontract orders being placed. I am currently responsible for the daily site management and coordination of all envelope works across three apartment blocks, ranging between 22 and 13 storeys in height.

Project Name: The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre, Stanford Hall.Location: Stanford on Soar, LoughbouroughValue and duration: £250 Million, 30 Months (Total)My Responsibilty: Manager of a new build, steel framed clinical audit building (Value circa £6 Million)Project outcome: Sectional practical completion achieved (SCD1), Remainder of project still ongoing. As a building manager, I contributed to the success of the project by delivering a new build, two storey steel framed clinical audit building from initial ground work through to practical completion. My building was the first on the site to achieve a practical completion certificate (as part of SCD1), after I successfully overcame a number of complex design and installation challenges. I achieved this by careful planning, resourcing, and day to day site coordination with each trade and by taking a lead role in carrying out daily site safety briefings and toolbox talks.

Project Name: The Mailbox Refurbishment.Location: City Centre BirminghamValue and duration: £19 Million, 24 Months (Total)My Responsibilty: Engineering control, temporary works and subcontractor package management.Project outcome: Phase 1 and 2 handover successfully completed As the site engineer on this challenging, iconic, city centre refurbishment project I played a major role in the phase 2 handover of the project - the redevelopment of the main mall. I provided accurate dimensional control for all trades through the use of modern instrumentation and also drove through a number of temporary works solutions in order to achieve the client's critical opening date. After starting the project as a graduate engineer I would finish up being the sole engineer, taking full responsibility for the site engineering duties, along with the management of steel frame and groundwork packages.

Hagley Road Retirement Village (£29M), Birmingham. I was heavily involved in the setting out for this large scale residential building project. During these works I was responsible for the setting out of piled foundations, block work and steelwork. Hotel La Tour (£16M), Birmingham. I was assistant package manager for joinery on this high end City Centre hotel development project. I ensured that all joinery materials were delivered in coincidence with the project programme and met the client's needs. Galliford Try Estimating Department, Leicestershire. I played an important role in the tendering for a number of projects in the Galliford Try planning and estimating department. I was responsible for producing 3D models to demonstrate site logistics and phasing plans, which assisted the bid team in winning prestigious projects
