I am a recent graduate from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where I majored in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (specializing in Image & Data Science), and minored in Computer Science. I entered the conservation field after 8 years working in scuba travel, where I saw firsthand just one devastating aspect of climate change and other human impacts on the natural environment in the form of starkly declining reef health across the planet. Looking forward, I am eager to continue to deepen my knowledge and understanding of our relationship with the rest of the natural world, and to contribute what I am able towards a more harmonious relationship between the two.
