Matrix UK Solutions is a hugely respected AV and Project delivery supplier to the live events industry. My current role in the company is a Junior Project Manager. A role that is very rewarding, fulfilling and every day is different. I get to work on some amazing projects. At Matrix, I was given the chance to really prove my value and take on the responsibilities that the more senior members would carry out.I delivered on a range of different events, adapting to each clients needs and building a strong relationship. Events could range from a product launch, 20 people and a small PA or large-scale conferences/exhibitions for thousands of delegates with complex technical demands and deliverables. On-site I would act as production manager; ensuring that all technical elements were carried out efficiently and effectively. Liaison for the client and to give support & updates as the work is carried out and adapting quickly to any on-site changes. This role also involved being creative and understanding to client budget restrictions. I made concept designs for staging, floor-plans and set elements to fulfil the requirements for the client. This was heavily team driven company, that i loved being a part of.Working at Matrix was a fantastic experience and really allowed me to develop and hone in on many of my skills.

I provided efficient, professional and comprehensive AV & IT services for external and internal clients. Working with the sales department as a technical consultant to provide or resource the technical specification required for their event. This included; Sound, Video, Lighting, Graphics, Camera and Live link broadcasting. Continuing support for all technical aspects of each event. Within the facilities assistant role, I would aid the facilities manager with his duties or to continue processes in his absence. Implementing health and safety audits and fire/risk assessments. All graphic design and social media marketing was managed by myself. I was tasked to help with localised advertising and growing the social media accounts across all platforms.

II contributed to setting up a family business that delivers ad-hoc services for start-up, small and established companies looking to re-brand or grow their online presence. I continue to freelance for the company as a Graphic Designer. Seeing each project to 100% satisfaction.

Company started on the Social Media boom back in 2006. We focused on alternative clothing, driving our sales through all social media platforms and Live Events. Once the company started to build its audience and customer base, we created social events with our endorsements to promote both Knee Deep and the Artists that represented us. Interpersonal skills were key, a drive to make money, and marketing strategy was crucial in building the company.
