Employed with Euro Car Parts as Operations Manager for Cardiff Bay. I was required to take control of, the running of the warehouse, ensuring the drivers deliveries were on time and all stock coming in and out of the branch was correct, whilst also making sure the branch was kept in a clean, safe and workable environment. As operations manager I needed to take on the role of other departments such as, admin and CSS (Customer service supervisor) which included dealing direct with customers and any returns or queries. It was also my job to keep on top of the Health & Safety aspects of the business as well as keeping control of the audit for the branch.

I started working at Euro Commercials as Workshop Controller, which entailed controlling the running of the workshop and signing off job cards for the technicians. After taking on that roll for around a year I was then asked to take over as PDI manager, which included running a separate workshop, ensuring that every new vehicle off the line was prepped and ready to go to the customer in a timely manner. I continued with this roll whilst also assisting with the running of Euro Commercials, Newport branch. After proving my worth to the company I took on extra rolls such as, Booking MOTs for a fleet of customer vehicles and ensuring that the customer fleet service schedule was kept up to date, also arranging service measures and safety recalls for all Mercedes vehicles.

When first employed by Gulliver’s Truck Hire I started my role as a driver/Yardman based in Cardiff, I remained with this for 2 years, where, after showing potential and loyalty to the company, I was then given an opportunity for a promotion to Rental Executive, which lead to new responsibilities and targets to further my career. This included dealing directly with customers, arranging services, MOT's and general maintenance of the vehicle fleet.During my time at Newport, I was given the opportunity of acting depot manager. I proved my understanding of the business and took on further job rolls which included, general running of the depot and wages.due to the results and the difference I had made in Newport, I was asked by head office to assist in the improvement of failing branches.After spending a few months in Gloucester and improving the performance of the branch, I was again asked by head office to work from the biggest branch they had, Heathrow and produce the same results I had done previously. I remained in Heathrow until finishing with the company.

When I started with Primark, I began as a till operator and floor advisor, due to hard work and commitment I was then promoted to customer service administrator, where I would have dealt with customer queries and issues. This in turn then gave me the opportunity to liaise with other stores and interact direct with customers. I continued to do this roll until leaving the company.

Employed at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff, Kitchen Porter, later promoted to waiter.
