-Patient intake (Charting Medical/Ocular History, Vision Acuity)-Obtain Prior Authorization for various vision plans/insurances for eye exams/contact lens fitting and materials for soft and specialty contact lenses -Processing Payments for Contact Lenses order supplies per patient's request.- Charting patient's medical records via EMR (MDoffice)-Telephone Triage-Ordering office supply contact Lens stock/inventory for soft and specialty contact lenses -Placing contact lens orders soft and specialty lenses-Teaching lessons (Insertion/Removal) for contact lens wearers new and experienced as well as the proper care/treatment (Soft Contact Lenses,Specialty contact lenses such as Rigid Gas Permeable, Hybrids, & Sclerals)-Diagnostic Testing such as Zeiss Visual field testing, Bausch & Lomb Orbscan, Zeiss Specular testing, OCT Macular/Optic Nerve-Assisting the Doctor/Provider as needed for any additional task needed.-Creating/Issuing Letters of Medical Necessity for Contact Lenses Material/Examination to insurance companies.-Ordering contact lenses -direct purchase from various Manufactures (ABB Concise, Alcon, Johnson & Johnson, Vistakon, Lens Mode, Alden Optical, Visionary Optics and etc)
