• Acted as embedded Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) customer liaison representing Lockheed Martin on a daily basis, residing within the U.S. Navy, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Missile Branch at the Washington Navy Yard• Supported Director of SSP, VADM (Navy O-9), in development of SSP strategic engagements regarding missile modernization to support the program through 2084• Acted as a customer advocate, ensuring continuity in communication and priorities among Navy customer and Lockheed Martin executives; conveyed concern areas and influenced change for improved execution and customer relations• Daily interactions with Navy Senior Executive Service (SES), O-6 (Navy Captain), O-5 (Navy Commander) and GS- 15 leaders to ensure continuity in communication with LM executive and senior leadership at 5 primary, geographically separated FBM sites

I led team of 30 individual contributors and 5 leaders in project planning and objective definition for a technology refresh project. I focused on understanding risk areas with existing designs and manufacturing processes; managed cost and schedule baseline on path to System Requirements Review execution• Developed program plan that incorporated key lessons learned from past development programs and changed the existing FBM systems engineering culture; included robust requirements analysis, generation of interface control documents and model-based system design within an integrated digital environment• Developed trade study plan to define project scope to optimize design architecture solution; coordinated with local and remote Navy customers and FBM stakeholders on project vision and primary objectives• Worked across multiple sites and business units to drive architecture change for requirements database to support model based engineering vision• Became a leader of leaders and experienced the satisfaction of setting a vision for the team and orchestrating the implementation• Learned how to establish an organization with clarity of roles and responsibilities and the importance of establishing key leadership roles and recruiting accordingly

I manage the Requirements and Verification activity for FBM D5LE. I am responsible for 8 engineers and executing the verification baseline to sell off 4000 requirements. I developed several metrics to communicate to the customer the progress with verification. I developed a new process for gaining customer approval on verification artifacts. I own the DOORS database for requirements management and the change control process for the specifications.

I have taken on the responsibilities as the FBM D5LE Requirements and Verification Lead. I am responsible for 8 engineers. Our group owns the DOORS database for requirements management, we own the change control for the specifications. We are also responsible for the verification and the process for the sell-off of each of the requirements.

I managed cost and EVM performance of a $25M subcontract. My responsibilities included managing cost containment planning and implementation efforts, schedule performance and schedule erosion mitigation planning. I was responsible for integrating the STE and CCA efforts for transition of STE to CCA build factory, leading programmatic and contractual discussions with the subcontractor and ensuring that crisp closure paths to actions. Additionally, I managed the Commonality products with our partner The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. I was responsible for a team of 5 engineers that helped in acceptance testing and delivering CCA STE to the FBM program.

I served as the on-site representative for a subcontractor in Pittsfield, MA. The subcontractor was responsible for delivering test equipment on a $25M contract. My responsibilities included monitoring cost and EVM performance and assist in cost containment planning and implementation efforts. I was responsible for reporting schedule performance and developing/implementing schedule erosion mitigation plans. I provided integration between the LM and subcontractor program management. I also provided integration between the technical teams.

Worked in the Diagnostics Software Department on IR&D program to replace the third party configuration software currently being used

Participated in a rotational program that required 1 year of service in a sister company in Hamburg, Germany. The rotations included Engineering, Procurement, Field Service, and Hardware and Software Support.
