I worked for the Michigan Athletic Department as a tutor for student athletes. I tutored around 5-10 student each semester in classes in subject areas such as: Economics, History, Spanish, and more. I worked with students one on one to create individualized teaching methods in order to best match the learning style of each student.

Worked in Delhi, Inida as a communications intern for a non-governmental organization called, Pardada Pardadi Educational Society. I worked on updating their social media accounts and created corporate marketing materials for the company to use in the future. Its mission is to empower community women from the poorest sections of society. I worked alongside Dr. McGrath on his research analyzing state legislative committees and theorizing about how their structure and composition might influence policy outcomes. Our research complied a dataset of 15,676 committee-years across 50 state legislatures from 1996-2002 in order to accurately analyze the influence that parent chambers have on committee structure. Through this project, I have gained experience working with Excel and training in data collection. I was taught how to do basic coding in order to create complex graphs of our data. I gained valuable research and presentation experience.
