I believe that these institutions exist for their communities, therefore they should be including community members in the design, development, and creation of their experiences. I am committed to creating an environment that is welcoming and accepting of all who visit. Through collaboration and partnerships with community groups, institutions are capable of designing more enriching and meaningful environments where people can form deeper connections with themselves, their families, their community, and the natural world. I am a life-long learner who enjoys using my creativity to assess processes and problems and find innovative solutions and improvements. I believe in perpetual prototyping and that failure is something to be celebrated and acknowledged. I enjoy working in teams where differing views and opinions are valued and encouraged to be shared. I am a self proclaimed bird nerd who loves being out in nature and fly fishing. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and dogs.
