Was ranked #2 of 27 highly competitive Hospital corpsmen upon annual review. Trained 10 corpsman and 7 nurses in proper administration and documentation of vaccines. Cared for active duty members, reservists, veterans, and all ages of dependents, educating and administering vaccinations on a case by case basis. Initiated the development and implementation of a monetary evaluation proposal which researched the cost of vaccinations versus titers, resulting in saving the hospital thousands of dollars annually. Lead 5 corpsmen and 3 medical assistants as team manager in Family Medicine department, assigning roles and creating clinical schedules. Supported 10 providers during the care of 3,500 beneficiaries. Successfully provided initial patient assessment, presented findings to provider, then treated patient as directed with little to no supervision. Cross-trained in phlebotomy, IV therapy, immunizations, minor procedures, ultra sound, EKG, hearing screenings, eye exams, and gynecological clinics.
