Organized intricate logistics ensuring cost efficiency and best in class effective transportation for Hayward manufactured components and finished goods globally. Historically, siloed, largely due to multiple acquisitions throughout the years, the new strategy focuses on bringing all regions together under one control tower based in the USA. Worked to procure freight at a global, rather than regional level, to leverage more aggressive rates and service. Created a collaborative synergy regionally around logistics, understanding overall global infrastructure, created logistics partnerships in each region to provide support and accountability, and focus on implementing a global Visibility Platform for Order Management and transit milestone visibility. Platform implemented for all Hayward air and ocean shipments globally in July 2022.

•Manage complete process of ocean container shipments for customers purchasing in bulk and collecting at port or inland rail yard from vendor origin to customer destination. This Includes, booking through forwarder, tracking, managing exceptions, manifest creation, scheduling customer/carrier collection, final invoice triggering•Maintain relationships with forwarder, air/ocean carriers, customs broker, to ensure shipments are booked on appropriate vessels/flights, arrive at correct destination, customs clear in a timely manner, and deliver to the customer on time•Ensure that container space is utilized in order to reduce CPU•Responsible for forecasting sales dollars for each fiscal month and ensure deliveries are made and forecast is met. Ensure the business is continually updated on any risks to the forecast•Work closely with business partners in Production, Account Services, and Sales to make certain we are aligned with customer expectations•Lead weekly production calls to discuss exceptions regarding vendor handover dates and provide recommendations in order to ensure POE orders meet customer requirements •Serve as Team Leader for the POE/Exports Team
