Production Planner Analyst
CurrentResponsible for scheduling and distributing daily production work orders, including entry into JD Edwards. Collaborate with production teams to develop an efficient schedule while balancing multiple variables including staffing, material yield loss reduction, and machine capacity. Troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues as they arise in JD Edward and numerous macro-enabled excel workbooks. Identify and implement continuous improvement of processes and systems of the production floor. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and others to support the S&OP Demand Planning process for the site. Track new product launches and product discontinuations and assist business teams in decision making through communicating challenges and opportunities identified at the plant level. Schedule, track, and plan for plant trials and projects. Provide costing and labor staffing estimates for new product launches. Create and upkeep production material variance reports for previous week and monthly. Perform deep dive analysis of waste factors and lead improvements with the Operations Team to improve outages, and over/under consumption. Update KPI's weekly and manage and review the Vorne data daily to analyze trends. Review the OEE Audit Reports and lead discussions to improve performance as required. Prepare daily and weekly overtime reports as well as update Labor Efficiency Report worksheets. Create purchase orders for fluid and nonperishable materials. Order over 150 individual SKUs as well as managing discontinuation and flow though timings. Periodically reviews inventory quantities, ordering more materials when necessary within the companies’ budget. Reduce errors by reviewing invoices discrepancy with the accounting department. Manages all returns, holds, and credits with vendors. Work closely with vendors to ensure product arrival. Practices both the required GMP and Safety procedures as well as conducting monthly GMP plant audits.
