Hello, my name is Ashley Dominguez, and I am a senior at George Mason University majoring in psychology with a concentration in educational psychology.I have gained a number of skills from the volunteering program I did with Fairfax County in which I worked with recovering inmates. I would Provide inmate programs and services at the Adult Detention Center, which included life skills classes, mental health counseling, religious services, alcohol and drug support groups, health education, library services, and job training. A few of my skills and strengths include problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and being able to communicate effectively.My current professional goal is to advocate for the needs of students and families and work to ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed. Additionally, to provide consultation and support to teachers and staff members on mental health, behavior, and learning issues.
