In this project centered role with Sola Impact's Beehive opportunity zone campus in South LA, I worked with my team of architects, 3D renderers, construction managers and between 75-100 workers during the first year of the pandemic. Comprised of six 100 year old warehouses in the historic Goodyear Tract, our job was to rehab them into viable commercial.

I have written many articles for the hard copy of the magazine, as well as many many blogs for the online website, and worked closely with the publisher on a variety of projects. I act as West Coast liaison when needed. I still contribute and remain involved during its transition into an online entity.

This was a project that never launched, but during the research and development phase I became visible in the internet recovery world, along with my already very visible business partner Amber Smith. I learned a lot during the almost year we worked on building the site- which was to be a recovery TV station online, with a sober dating site and a sober.

Ran this small design house of luxury luggage and handbags. Created a line of handbags in new leathers and lining for spring launch at Takashimaya NYC. Did all in house PR- with a coveted Barney's NY Christmas window for the white distressed leather guitar case lined in silk brocade, plus spots in British Vogue, Italian Vogue, etc. Travelled often to NYC.

I covered all aspects of this company and worked with the owner in design and production, sales, tradeshows in NYC and LA. I created a small jewelry line for JJ and designed many handbags in assorted leathers and hardware details.

I cut my teeth in the fashion world in this position. I started low on the totem pole making jewelry in the production office and ended up running all aspects of this accessories business. from designing lines of jewelry and handbags, sourcing luxurious materials, to making sure it all ran smoothly from design to fulfillment. I also did in house PR, trade.

I had my small hypnotherapy practice at this Spa for two years. I found it challenging to build a practice and raise two kids on my own- there is a lot of uncertainty when this is your only source of income. I abandoned my practice and still use my NLP skills daily in all of my jobs since then.
