In the mental health field, my experience varies. I did an internship in my undergraduate at Beckett Academy, a residential setting for teenage boys who had been sexually abused. I worked for over two years in a crisis center before and during the start of my graduate work. I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience there. I worked both with adults and children in crisis. I interned at the University of Maine at Farmington in their counseling center. I provided mental health 1:1 counseling to the students. Currently, I am interning at Maine General Medical Center's Intensive Outpatient program. The program offers 3 groups (DBT, education, and psychotherapy) 4x a week. Our clientele are made up of mostly those with co-occuring disorders.I also have vast experience in reviewing for novels. In the past I worked as a free lance reviewer for an online site, and currently work as a columnist for an online/in print quarterly magazine. I review three books a quarter for them (Dark Moon Digest)
