Hi, I'm Ashley! I'm a junior at the University of Missouri, dual majoring in journalism and political science with a minor in German. I currently work at KOMU 8 as an Assistant Producer, represent the Missouri School of Journalism as a Journalism Ambassador, and am Fighting Pretty Mizzou's Public Relations Chair. With my emphasis in Cross-Platform Editing and Producing at the J-School, I look forward to furthering my skills as an editor in the Missouri News Network newsroom and learning how to produce a show at KOMU 8.I use my experience in project management and knowledge of the intersection of journalism and democracy to prioritize high-quality journalistic work in the newsrooms I'm a part of. Known for my attention to detail and problem solving skills, I hold myself and others around me to a high standard while continually developing my own journalistic knowledge and skills.
