Manage Georgia-Pacific’s Procurement Operations Center of Excellence Team consisting of 45 individuals providing capability in process improvements, system advancement, and technology to support field operations and strategic sourcing. Responsibilities include management and optimization over master data management strategy and tools, Ariba platform (including commerce automation, sourcing and contracting, and buying), business process standardization of P2P across various disparate ERPs, developing and driving MRO inventory optimization strategy, oversight to adherence of internal financial controls and operational central buying. Led various process optimization, system, and automation projects including:•Implemented RFID technology driving efficiencies in warehousing parts through generating increased reliability through improved cycle count, automated issuing of parts resulting in reduced labor hours and enhanced consistency, and overall increased visibility to parts availability•Drove transformation through utilizing RPA technology across various platforms, examples include: conducting inventory reviews resulting in 600 hours saved per year, enabling the removal of millions in inventory value, central buying optimization through auto issuance of POs for non-Ariba enabled suppliers•Supported enterprise projects implementing Ariba upstream and reviewing the overall requisition to payment process while assisting in division implementation of S4 SAP technology and Ariba Buying technology •Outsourced storeroom warehousing operations to third party to leverage comparative advantage, increasing overall working capital and value saved for each facility •Aided in project management of data cleanup efforts increasing data quality through de-duplication of supplier records and increased governance through standardization of item taxonomy to UNSPSC

•Managed Georgia-Pacific’s Harmon Supply Chain Team consisting of 18 individuals in supply chain strategy, supplier selection and implementation, optimization, and providing profitable service and support for customers. Managed overall logistics execution and planning for OCC customer pick up and drop offs, optimized sourcing of tons across facilities and provided benchmarking data to create synergies across the network •Optimized workforce by enhancing talent and outsourcing distribution center management to third party •Improved service rate to largest national account customer by 13% vs prior year, directly increasing customer service and satisfaction •Implemented invoicing process that allowed both customers and suppliers to be paid timely, resulting in increased efficiencies and improved strategic partnerships along with establishing improved payment terms with suppliers aligning incentives to help create a win-win relationship

•Managed the procurement and storeroom operations teams for Georgia-Pacific’s Lumber and Chemical divisions consisting of up to 39 individuals and 20 facilities to ensure diligent sourcing and procurement of spare parts and services, risk mitigation through implementation of supplier contracts, and overall inventory optimization•Owned management of lumber facility acquisition for the procurement group by laying the foundation of setting up key fundamental processes, owning and implementing the system transition to MP2, contract review and adoption, and transition and execution of GP strategic sourcing strategies. •Worked to effectively change culture by implementing reduced storeroom hours optimizing 70+ hours/week and aided in improving working capital through inventory optimization.

Supported VP of Operations by formulating and improving spend transition strategies to help leverage capabilities in the field, analyzed and rolled out improved monthly business reports for local cost savings to track and increase visibility. Managed cutover process and capture of sourcing opportunities available during two major acquisitions

Managed paper demand for 12 manufacturing facilities totaling over $1 billion in assets to reduce working capital in tissue, towel, and napkin divisions. Strategically generated weekly paper models to forecast future paper requirements for over 1,000 converting items.
