My position as Outreach and Communications Manager has me working across all departments for the city's fastest growing LGBTQ+/HIV centered 501c3 non-profit. The majority of my time is spent connecting with local and national businesses and organizations to grow our branding, development, volunteer base, and partnership efforts. A one woman show, in tune with our Executive Director and consultants for all things social media and marketing while engaging with and promoting our programming including our Community Health resources, SOGIE Training, special events, and our youth and family initiatives.

As Lead Blogger for True T PGH I work with the Executive Directors and other leaders in the organization to provide Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ community with content centered around celebrating and uplifting BIPOC voices. My specialty is pop culture and entertainment but we are working on driving our content into political, local and historical areas to expand our audience.

My position as IDL Worldwide’s Office Coordinator typically put me in different roles on a daily basis. I focused on making the office a comfortable and welcoming space not just for our visiting clientele but for the faces I saw every day. I had to work with various vendors, local restaurants for our meetings and company parties all while making sure the office space was in working order. Other tasks included me doing a great deal of work in Office 365 and helping deal with sensitive client information in SalesForce, TICK, and SAP for organization and company data entry purposes. I was also the Emergency Health and Safety Coordinator for my office. I lead monthly EHS meetings that kept the staff informed on our company safety practices and communicated with corporate to ensure that we were always up to date with mandatory check-ins.

My work as the Media Specialist for BirdBrain consisted of mostly videography and editing. I worked on everything from tutorials on how to program and operate the company products to promotional/informational videos.

Worked a temporary position as a Production Coordinator for an independent short film. My role included everything from filing SAG paperwork for talent, location scouting, wardrobe consultation, script advising and catering over a three month period.

As a media specialist at Zulama, I did most of my work in video editing for the company. Everything from classroom perspective videos to website navigation was my responsibility. I've also done basic voice over work for our teacher training programs and helped with sales calls.

My role as an executive producer at Westminster Cable Network was a bit all-inclusive for our cable show The County Line. It consisted of using skills that I learned while working my way up to the position including my broadcast writing and experiences in camera work, story development and graphics and also gave me a chance to build on them. My job also included managing a crew of up to 10 members for a live or recorded show working as the show's director and also assisting in technical direction.

In my brief but wonderful time at WKBN-TV in Youngstown I worked on a wide variety of projects including assisting with web management for the production department, collaborated on commercial spots for air, created press releases and also took on some training in off-site ride-alongs for story creation pieces.

As Assistant Program Director at WWNW my job consisted of organizing and helping out Lead Program Director in the selection of music and programming for our Adult Contemporary radio station. We also acted as Morning Show personalities for the AM drive.

As Promotions Director for WWNW I handled all of the community related station promotions. This included working with local businesses to help with different on-air contests including our Valentine's Day Giveaways. One of my favorite projects was working with the station DJ's to put together our annual broadcast from the track at the Relay For Life benefit put on by one of the school's fraternities in association with the American Cancer Society.
