Using EPIC, schedule incoming calls for appointments for over 100 providers including Cardiologist’s, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.Schedule appointments for 12 locations ranging from Kansas City to Kansas City Missouri and surrounding areas. All patient incoming calls are for follow ups, annuals, and general appointments. Return voicemails to patients needing appointments. Manage the Answering Service Messages. After hour calls are sent to the answering service, and messages are reviewed and sent to the appropriate providers nursing team based on the patient’s needs.Communicate with teammates via Teams.Attend job trainings and scheduled monthly meetings via Teams.Communicate with other locations via email.Email all add on appointments to the appropriate locations.

Prior authorized Orthopedic surgery orders from the Physician, Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant.Gather all clinical information necessary to submit to the patient’s insurance in order to get the procedure approved in a timely manner.Managed and organized the surgery schedule for 3 Physicians.Communicated with patient’s about post and pre-operative appointments.Scheduled surgeries with outside facility- Menorah Medical Center for the Physicians that had privileges there.Remotely- Followed up on all medical claims for government payers- Tricare, TriWest, VA, Tricare East, Department of Labor.Correct and fix any errors in the electronic claims system (Waystar).Mailed all clinical documentation need to properly process the pending claim.
