Development and pairing of microfluidic platforms and analytical methods to measure secretions and intracellular chemistry of islets of Langerhans. Analytical techniques and tools used include LC-MS, immunoassays, MALDI-MS, calcium imaging, and microfluidics. Advisor: Robert Kennedy

Mentored new Department of Chemistry teaching assistants teaching for the Merit Program for Emerging Scholars. Provided constructive feedback, helped restructure worksheets and lesson plans, and reported to Merit Program Director.

Taught General Chemistry I (CHEM 102) to students jointly in the Merit Program for Emerging Scholars and the Access and Achievement Program. Prepared two worksheets and mini-lectures each week, hosted four review sessions each semester, and created six quizzes aimed at exam preparation.
